Outreach Opportunities & Forms
The Greenville City Fire Department offers many safety programs and services by request.
Due to the number of requests we receive, all requests must be submitted using the form below and must be received at least 10 business days in advance. Please note that requests received fewer than 10 business days in advance may not be considered.
GCFD's Community Risk Reduction & Education Coordinator is now available to attend neighborhood association and other community organization meetings. If you would like to arrange for him to speak at your meeting, please contact us at least 10 business days in advance.
Community involvement and fire safety are part of our core values. GCFD programs are for residents, business owners and visitors to the city. Your safety is our priority.

Car Seat Safety Checks

Smoke Alarms
The Greenville City Fire Department provides smoke alarms and installation, free of charge, to city residents.

Fire and Life Safety House
The fire and life safety house allows firefighters to teach children fire safety by simulating a fire event.

Fire Explorers Post
The Fire Explorers program targets young men and women, ages 14-20, who may be interested in pursing a career in fire or emergency services.

Project Lifesaver
The program provides GCFD, the Greenville Police Department (GPD) and caregivers equipment and training to quickly locate and rescue individuals with cognitive disorders who are prone to the life threatening behavior of wandering, including those with Alzheimer’s disease, Autism and Downs Syndrome.

The Greenville City Fire Department has a team of specialists that can help intervene with juvenile fire starters.
