Administration

The Fire Administration Division is comprised of the Fire Chief and an administrative assistant. The Fire Chief provides leadership, management and oversight of all departmental functions, including fire suppression, fire prevention, emergency medical services, hazardous materials response, disaster preparedness and related programs, services and operations.

The Fire Chief works directly with City Council, the City Manager and members of the City leadership team to establish and guide strategic initiatives for the department. The Fire Chief also serves as the City’s Emergency Management Coordinator.
