Transportation and Parking Information for SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament

Because much of the Southeastern Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament, scheduled for March 6-10, will coincide with regular business hours and Greenville’s normal peak traffic times, the City of Greenville has worked with event officials and the Bon Secours Wellness Arena staff to address issues such as traffic flow and parking that will affect both event attendees and local residents and business owners.

To reduce the amount of vehicular traffic to the Bon Secours Wellness Arena, there will be a free shuttle to transport fans from satellite parking at 20 Tower Drive (across from the Greenville Convention Center) to the arena during the days and times listed below:

Free Satellite Shuttle Schedule

Wednesday, March 6

10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Thursday, March 7

10:30 a.m. – 12 a.m.

Friday, March 8

10:30 a.m. – 12 a.m.

For fans who drive downtown and prefer to park near the Bon Secours Wellness Arena, event parking will be available at the City’s Church Street Garage at 320 North Church Street for $6 Wednesday through Sunday. For those willing to park farther away, parking will also be available in other City garages at the regular daily rate (including the first hour free), with the exception of the Liberty Square Garage. There will be no daily parking available in the Liberty Square Garage (65 Beattie Place) on weekdays. Visit for a list of City parking facilities, locations and rates.

Accessible parking is located in the Premium Seat Parking Lot between the Church Street Garage and the Bon Secours Wellness Arena on a limited first come, first served basis. Additional accessible parking is located in the Church Street Garage. All vehicles requiring accessible parking must have the proper decal displayed from the rearview mirror or have an applicable license plate.

Fans can also utilize Greenlink’s downtown trolley service to get to and from the tournament. The Heart of Main trolley will deviate from its normal route to service the Bon Secours Wellness Arena during the following times. Fans can download the Trolley Tracker app for real-time trolley locations by searching for “Greenville Trolley Tracker” in the Google Play or Apple Store. The trolley route map is available at

Downtown Trolley Schedule
Thursday, March 7
6 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Friday, March 8
6 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Saturday, March 9

Fans should be aware that there is a clear bag policy in place for entrance into the tournament. Bags that do not satisfy the guidelines below will not be permitted in the arena. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.

  • Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bag or similar)
  • Small clutch bags, no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” (with or without a handle or strap)

Officers from the Greenville Police Department will be providing traffic control on streets around the Bon Secours Wellness Arena and motorists traveling in the vicinity are urged to remain alert, be aware of pedestrians and follow officers’ instructions.
