Today at approximately 10:55 AM officers responded to the area of Grey Street in reference to an armed robbery.
The victim reported that he caught a man and a women stealing from his mailbox. The victim followed the suspects who were in a burgundy truck and caught up to them on Grey Street. Upon confronting the suspects the male individual pulled out a foldable knife and made an attempt to stab the victim. The male subject then got into the truck with the female suspect and drove off.
Greenville Police Officers began searching the area for the suspects and the suspect vehicle.
Officers located the suspect vehicle near Nelson Street and Mcleod Street. Officers initiated the traffic stop and detained both occupants of the vehicle.
The subjects have been charged, arrested and transported to detention with no further incident.
The individuals have been identified as Justin Edward Mcleod (DOB: 06/13/1989) and Dianna Breeze Strickland, (DOB: 05/01/1990).
They have currently been charged with armed robbery and auto breaking. There may be more charges pending as the investigation continues.
