[ARCHIVED] Greenlink Fare Free Day Sponsored by Orianna Health Systems Nov 23

Greenlink is partnering with Orianna Health Systems to offer a Fare Free Day to coincide with the Thanksgiving holiday. As a result of Orianna’s sponsorship, passengers will enjoy free rides and transfers on all of Greenlink’s 11 fixed routes on Wednesday, November 23.

Orianna Health Systems operates seven skilled nursing centers in Greenville County and Fare Free Day is designed to help facilitate visits with family members. According to Stacy Cape, senior regional director of admissions, Orianna is proud to partner with Greenlink to offer this fare free day as a way to introduce public transit to those who may not have considered it as a transportation option. “Since transportation is often cited as a barrier to improving quality of life, Orianna hopes that Fare Free Day will help remove that barrier and make it easier for people to spend time with their families during the Thanksgiving holiday,” said Cape.

Routes 1 - 14 operate from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Route 16 operates from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Schedules and estimated time stops for all routes are available at www.ridegreenlink.com.
